We love to get rid of lawns as those have shallow root systems that erode quickly and require tons of resources input to survive. Transforming these spaces into gardens showcasing native plants introduces biodiversity, deep root structure, and abundance.

Our Earth’s soil is so depleted but when we introduce life back into it, deep root systems, biodiversity in the soil, prevents erosion, adds nutrients to soil, native plants no more fertilizing and there fore higher natural return - makes the soil come to life and dance again!
A living mulch is created by weaving together a matrix of native grasses to fill the spaces beneath flowering native perennials, shrubs, and trees—restoring the water cycle while reflecting permaculture values in the urban garden.
